I speak English, Russian, and Portuguese, and I am currently learning Italian. I divide my time between the United States and Europe.
I am also the founder of HypnoCloud, a digital hypnotherapy platform designed to make structured self-hypnosis accessible and practical, and AlphaMind, a high-performance self-hypnosis app focused on intentional mental conditioning
In a Bit More Detail…
People often ask me how and why I became a hypnotist. It remains a rare profession, still surrounded by outdated myths and stage-show stereotypes.
My fascination with hypnosis began when I was five years old, growing up in Russia. My mother took me to a stage hypnosis performance. I remember watching adults suddenly behave like children—playing with imaginary toys and speaking in high, playful voices. I was captivated and confused.
How could the mind shift so quickly?
That question stayed with me.
Years later, I came to the United States as an exchange student. Eventually, I settled in New York City and began building my life from scratch. I was 23, sleeping on a floor mattress in Brooklyn, navigating a new language, culture, and city—driven by ambition but with no clear roadmap.
I wanted to thrive. I wanted to write, to speak, to create films. I wanted to understand human behavior deeply enough to shape my own trajectory.
One day I came across an advertisement for a hypnosis course. The childhood memory resurfaced immediately. This was the mystery I had never solved. But more than that, I sensed something practical: perhaps hypnosis could be used not as spectacle—but as a tool for conscious growth.
After my first training, I began creating self-hypnosis recordings for myself. I recorded scripts to refine my speech, strengthen my confidence in acting classes, become a fearless driver, and develop a healthier relationship with money and success. I was experimenting with internal narrative rewiring long before it became a popular concept.
As I deepened my training and exchanged sessions with experienced practitioners, I saw the structured power of hypnotherapy: not magic, not mind control—but focused attention combined with suggestion and behavioral integration.
At some point I asked myself a simple question:
Why not build a practice?
Not as a fallback—but as a path.
I used hypnosis on myself to embody the identity of a successful practitioner before I became one externally. I visualized it, rehearsed it, conditioned it. Then I acted. I apprenticed, wrote, networked, created content, bartered sessions, and learned from established hypnotherapists in New York City.
Soon I was interviewed by the New York Post, and later by The New York Times. I built a practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, helping individuals strengthen confidence, overcome fears, break habits, and expand perspective.
Alongside building my clinical work, I earned my Bachelor of Science from The New School University and later a Master of Science in Administrative Sciences with a concentration in Executive Coaching and Organizational Behavior. My practice gradually expanded into executive coaching, leadership development, and performance psychology.
Over the past 20 years, I have worked with more than a thousand clients—including professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, performers, and executives—supporting behavioral change, confidence, emotional regulation, and high-performance mindset.
My life has also been international. I lived in the United States for over two decades, spent three years in Brazil, and currently live in Italy. I divide my time between the U.S. and Europe, working globally and traveling extensively throughout Europe. This cross-cultural experience deeply informs my work: I understand adaptation, reinvention, and identity transition firsthand.
Today, I work primarily online and in person in New York City and Rome. I integrate hypnosis, executive coaching, and developmental psychology to help clients recalibrate internal patterns and expand how they see themselves and the world.
I also founded HypnoCloud and AlphaMind—two digital platforms designed to make structured self-hypnosis and intentional mental conditioning accessible beyond the therapy room.
A Final Note on Stage Hypnosis
The childhood mystery that started this journey turned out to be far less mystical than it appeared.
Stage hypnosis is not mind control. Participants are not unconscious. It is a social dynamic—a voluntary compliance within an agreed-upon performance structure. People on stage know what they are doing; they are responding to suggestion within a framework of permission.
Clinical hypnotherapy, however, is different. It is focused attention, intentional suggestion, and structured cognitive integration designed to create measurable behavioral change.
That early question led me not into illusion—but into disciplined inner work.
And that is the work I continue today.

What people Are Saying after working with Elena Mosaner
““Working with Elena has been one of the most helpful and transformative experiences of my life. The change I saw even after just one session was incredible. Problems that once seemed insurmountable now cause me no anxiety. She instills in you a new hope and optimism regarding life and has an amazing ability to help anyone evolve into their best self. I cannot recommend working with Elena enough—it will be one of the best decisions you ever make.”
— M.H. New York City
“Working with Elena was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend her to anyone who is serious about solving personal issues in their life. She not only provided her skilled Hypnotherapy services, spent time in helping find out where a possible root of the causes stemmed from with my sleep and allergy issues. I also appreciated that, up front, she said we would try to solve the matters in as few sessions possible. Other services of this type are saying that they need many multiple sessions, which can add up. Elena’s services were worth the investment, patient, thorough, and most important, helped me solve these issues!”

I am a professional fighter who competes in the UFC. Mental preparation is a very important component necessary to win. As an athlete I believe it's as important to have your mind armed with the ability to focus and harness a level of confidence that will support your goal of not only winning the competition but having your head straight to train every day at 100 percent capacity. I've had difficulties in the past which made it tough to not only prepare right mentally but also compete with my mind sharp. After working with Elena, it was clear to me the weak links in the chain of MY thoughts and what I needed work on. She helped me to vanquish doubt, negative thinking, rumination, and comparisons to other people. The more we worked together the more I felt "unlocked" and "unchained". I felt a rise in confidence and a much clearer understanding of my goals and my focus. It showed in the night I competed recently in UFC 230. I felt a clear focus and confidence that translated physically for me to have won the fight that night. The best part of working with her was how simple she made it seem. How she simply dialed in some reprogramming of the mind, pattern of thinking, and how it easily changed my behaviors. I thank her for the work she’s done and will continue to practice an invaluable tool she help arm me with to be successful both in and out of the cage. Thank you Elena.

“I have always been skeptical of hypnosis to address the stomach issues I have been having for years. After numerous medical procedures, nothing has ever shown, I decided, based on some wonderful reviews to reach out to you. I was very much taken back when told the total number of sessions I would need, 2 or 3, thinking that I would probably be drawn into this procedure for thousands of dollars. After the second session which was last week, the next day, I had no stomach issues, was this just an accident. I proceeded with your recommended therapy and for the next two days my pain had diminished by 80%, more important I started to focus in on my next stage in my life in a more positive way as you suggested. The results have been nothing but amazing, greatly appreciate your sincerity and wonderful demeanor in the process. Thank you so much.”

I had really amazing 2 sessions with Elena for performance anxiety. I'm a professional musician and needed to overcome the performance anxiety which I've been struggling over the past years as the stake is getting higher and higher. Not only her presence being warm and supportive, her voice being soothing and easy to get relaxed with, Elena has a deep insight for music/performance. Her intuition was right on. Her story telling was excellent. After the 1st session, I had an amazing week, playing gigs and recording. I was relaxed, calm and focused. If you struggle with performance anxiety, I highly recommend Elena Mosaner. You won't regret it!
