Elena's first documentary film "Zaritsas: Russian Women In New York" was screened in festivals across the country. "Zaritsas" debuted at the Cine Gear Expo at The Studios at Paramount in Hollywood, California, on June 3rd, 2010, and also screened on Oct. 24, 2010, at the Astoria/LIC Film Festival and the NYC Downtown Feature Festival. On January 12th, 2011 NewFilmmakers NY presented it as part of a program on women filmmakers at the Anthology Film Archives.
