How Hypnosis Works and How We Get Hypnotized

Morning At Dune BeachLast summer I spend some time in the Hamptons having a good time with friends and also doing some hypnosis sessions and teaching private hypnosis courses for self-empowerment.

One of many things I teach my clients is relaxation techniques to manage stress and to elicit a relaxation response. The relaxation response is a physical state of deep rest that changes the physical and emotional responses to stress and the opposite of the fight or flight response.

Another very important lesson I teach my clients is the ability to think critically, because I believe hypnosis is all around us: in the media, TV, internet, social media, politics and even in some of the interpersonal relationships we engage in.
